"Passion Moves...Chaos and Creativity"

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique.  And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost forever."

Martha Graham

"Passion Moves..." is an original script, integrated with a collection of diverse literary and cultural voices, this performance explores the connections between chaos theory, creative process and human potential.  Original stories and characters, poetry, prose, and dramatic performance illustrate the great power of paradox that lives at the core of every human endeavor.  An invitation is extended to celebrate the joy and the sorrow, the pleasure and the pain of stretching our limits, embarking on new voyages of discovery, and commiting to challenge of life-long learning.   The collection of great works of literary voices include Emily Dickinson, Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, Woody Allen, Anton Chekov, Norman Cousins, Marianne Williamson and Nelson Mandela.

Deep inside the creative experience there is an intimate place where one's true voice speaks, shouts, screams and sings.  This authentic voice balances delicately on a dynamic tension between the great opposites of our lives.  When we can experience the light and the dark, embrace the joy and the suffering of our human condition, then we are fully alive.  We are called to move confidently into our creative inheritance where chaos waits to challenge us, to inspire us and to make real that which we are capable of becoming!
